Eaton Terminal

Eaton, Colorado Terminal

The Eaton facility, owned by Omaha Track and managed by Twin Eagle Terminals & Logistics, boasts a robust infrastructure, featuring a silo 6-pack with a remarkable capacity of 10 million pounds per silo. Our well-designed facility has a car capacity of 850 cars, which is also unit capable.

Currently, we’re actively engaged in transloading a diverse range of materials, including frac sand, vegetable oil, pipe, lumber, bonemeal, grain, tallow, and have previously handled oversize rail loads of electrical transformers, ultimately achieving an annual transload volume exceeding 2.5 billion pounds of bulk materials.

The site is thoughtfully designed with multiple track configurations, allowing us to simplify switching operations and handle various car types.

  • Located in the heart of the DJ Basin, off an industrial lead near the Union Pacific Switch Yard
  • Facility features over 5,000 feet of track with expansion plans for unit train capability
  • 160 railcar spaces of transloading capability
